Partnership Working and Shoplifters stopped.

This evening officers from the Ashbourne, Brailsford and Carsington Police SNT , Matlock, Cromford, Wirksworth and Darley Dale Police SNT and Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Teams have been on patrol this late evening for Matlock Bath Illuminations.

Thank you for all people who stopped and said hello to us during our patrols this evening.

Also during tonight's patrols officers received reports of shoplifting at a shop on North Parade, Matlock Bath.

Later that same evening, the shoplifters were identified and stopped by officers, who dealt with the offences through Restorative Justice as per the business owners wishes.
